Sayla Music Academy is looking for experienced music instructors to teach private and group lessons at our beautiful music institution in Lodi, California. Sayla boasts a beautiful campus, flexible work schedules, competitive pay, employee benefits, a macromanaged work environment, and much more! We are currently interested in piano, voice, woodwind , cello, and percussion teachers.
Responsibilities:
- To teach private lessons to our growing community of students and musicians.
- To support and assist students in performance and community activities.
- To communicate learning expectations, scheduling, and other details to students and/or their guardians.
- To be familiar and to help arbitrate the scope of Sayla's procedures regarding scheduling, attendance, campus security, online tasks, and event participation.
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelors degree or equivalent experience (10+ years) in teaching music.
- Must be proficient in one or more instruments, including music theory and sight-reading skills for each given instrument (a skills test will be given).
- Must be able to use Google Workspace and accompanying Google applications.
- Must be able to teach in-person at our Lodi campus.
- Upon acceptance of your application, you will be asked to schedule an interview that includes a live audition for our administrators.
