Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Guitar, Piano, Voice, and Instrumental Music Teacher to inspire students of all ages through the transformative power of music and the arts. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to students' skill levels and artistic interests in guitar, piano, voice, and other instrumental music. Deliver engaging, interactive lessons that incorporate both visual and performing arts principles to enhance musical understanding. Manage classroom dynamics effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and creating a positive learning atmosphere. Guide students through instrumental performance techniques, vocal training, choreography, dance instruction, and theater-related activities. Assess student progress regularly through performance evaluations, feedback sessions, and tailored lesson adjustments. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student growth and address individual needs. Organize student performances, recitals, or showcases that highlight their artistic development and boost confidence. Skills Proven experience in teaching music instruments such as guitar and piano, with a strong background in vocal instruction. Expertise in curriculum development that integrates visual arts, performing arts, choreography, dance instruction, and theater experience. Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with experience working with children and youth programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles to tailor lessons appropriately for preschoolers through adolescents. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate creative arts instruction like choreography or photography when relevant. Strong communication skills for working with students of varying ages and skill levels as well as collaborating with parents or guardians.
