In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons that foster musical growth, creativity, and confidence. Your expertise will help students develop their technical skills, musicality, and appreciation for the arts in a supportive and dynamic environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to nurture talent and cultivate a love for music within our vibrant community. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive violin curriculum tailored to students' skill levels and learning goals Conduct individual and group lessons focused on technique, sight-reading, performance skills, and musical expression Manage classroom environments to ensure a positive, disciplined, and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning Incorporate creative arts elements such as choreography, dance instruction, or theater techniques to enhance musical performances Plan engaging lesson activities that promote childhood development and foster a lifelong love of music Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to communicate student achievements and areas for growth Qualifications Proven experience teaching violin or other musical instruments with a focus on youth programs or educational settings Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience working with children and understanding childhood development principles Knowledge of teaching visual & performing arts, including choreography, dance instruction, or theater experience is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring young learners in music and the arts Additional experience in arts education such as photography, culinary arts, or preschool teaching is a plus but not required Join our team as a Violin Instructor and become a vital part of inspiring creativity through music! Pay:
From $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 6.0 per week
