ASAP About Us Belle Melodie Music Art School is headquartered in Carmel Valley, San Diego, with satellite studios in Fallbrook and Irvine. We offer comprehensive classical and pop training for ages 4 through adult. Private lessons include piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, bassoon, percussion (including drum set), guitar, bass, and voice; group classes include musical theatre, chamber music, band, percussion, and recorder. We offer music theory classes—either one-on-one or mini-groups (2-3 students)—covering levels from preparatory through AP Music Theory. We also run fun, learning-rich music camps throughout the year. We prepare students for school-orchestra auditions, SDYS and MMYS, and for exams including ABRSM (we are San Diego's ABRSM exam center), MTAC/CM, RCM, and AP Music Theory. We prioritize performance, hosting student recitals every two months. Through our Competition Hub, we coordinate entries for 30+ competitions at all levels, and our students have earned numerous awards. We are approved vendors with the regional center and multiple charter schools, and we are widely trusted in our neighborhood—especially through strong word-of-mouth in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Indian parent communities. We're seeking an experienced, upbeat piano instructor to teach one-on-one lessons grounded in classical technique and repertoire. Ability to cover basic pop piano (chords/lead-sheets) is a plus, and basic jazz piano (swing feel, 12-bar blues, simple ii-V-I comping) is another plus.
