This role involves delivering personalized, engaging lessons in students' homes, fostering musical growth, and nurturing a love for the arts. Responsibilities Develop customized guitar lesson plans that align with each student's skill level, interests, and goals Deliver engaging, interactive in-home lessons that incorporate fundamental techniques, music theory, and performance skills Foster a supportive environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and musical exploration Manage classroom dynamics effectively, including behavior management and motivation strategies Track student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans to meet evolving needs Prepare students for performances or recitals when appropriate, enhancing their confidence and stage presence Maintain professional communication with families or guardians regarding student development and upcoming lessons Qualifications Proven experience teaching guitar or other musical instruments in an in-home or classroom setting Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored to diverse learning styles and age groups Experience working with children and youth programs, with an understanding of childhood development principles Skills in classroom management, behavior management, and creating an inclusive learning environment Background in teaching visual & performing arts, including choreography or dance instruction is a plus Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate music performance, theory, and creative arts instruction Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students of all ages and their families Relevant experience in theater or musical performance enhances instructional versatility Join us as an In-home Guitar Teacher and help ignite students' passion for music while developing their technical skills.
