Immediate San Francisco need We have an immediate opening for a piano teacher who can teach a young beginner in SoMa (94105) during weekday after-school hours, generally between 3:45 and 5:30 PM. The ideal teacher is warm, patient, engaging, and comfortable using familiar contemporary songs alongside age-appropriate technique and musicianship. This is an in-home teaching position. Applicants must live in San Francisco or have reliable transportation and be genuinely willing to travel to students' homes, especially in SoMa and nearby central San Francisco neighborhoods. What we are looking for Strong piano training and musicianship Experience teaching children and beginners A creative, encouraging, and organized teaching style Dependable weekday-afternoon availability Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within San Francisco Clear, prompt communication with families and Craft Music Interest in building a stable, long-term roster A Bachelor of Music, current enrollment in a music degree, or equivalent professional training is preferred. Multi-instrumentalists are welcome, but piano teaching experience is essential. This is part-time contract work. Pay starts at $70 per hour, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow.
