Piano Instructor Ramos Music Academy is seeking a passionate, reliable, and engaging Piano Instructor to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students of different ages and skill levels and is committed to helping each student develop strong musical skills while building confidence and a lasting appreciation for music. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one piano instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels. Develop lessons that are engaging, educational, and appropriate for each student's goals and abilities. Teach proper piano technique, music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, ear training, and musical expression. Prepare students for recitals, performances, auditions, examinations, or other musical goals when applicable. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians. Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment. Communicate professionally with families regarding student progress and lesson expectations. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled lessons. Participate in academy recitals, performances, meetings, or other events as needed. Maintain a professional relationship with students, families, and other academy instructors. Qualifications Currently in school studying music, or has a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate Degree in Music Strong piano performance and teaching skills. Previous experience teaching piano, preferably to children and/or beginning students. Knowledge of music theory, sight-reading, technique, and repertoire. Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and skill levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, patient, organized, and professional. Formal music education or equivalent performance/teaching experience preferred. A passion for helping students grow as musicians. Schedule Part-time position with the potential for additional teaching hours based on student enrollment. Lesson availability may include weekday morning/afternoons/evenings and/or weekends.
