Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Voice instructors passionate about sharing their musical knowledge. Avloni Academy offers a conducive teaching environment, providing administrative support for scheduling, enrollment, and other logistical requirements, ensuring that teachers can focus solely on imparting knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

Legal authorization to work in the United States. Bachelor's degree in music preferred. Higher degrees (MM/MA, DM/PhD) will be given preference. Residency in the Bay Area with reliable transportation. Demonstrated experience in teaching and performing. Excellent communication skills, especially with students and parents. Commitment to crafting personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. Familiarity with or willingness to learn about ABRSM Practical and Theory Exams. Proficiency in English. Experience in preparing students for performances and exams. Adherence to our attendance policies

HOURS:

Teaching hours can range from Monday - Saturday, mornings to evenings. We prioritize flexibility, aligning with your availability. Preference is given to candidates with broad availability, especially during peak hours.

WORKPLACE

On-site lessons in a high-quality environment. Professional administrative team to handle all logistical operations. Recital/Performance opportunities for students at least 3 times a year. Continued professional development and training, including mentorship.

COMPENSATION

Pay range: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour.
