Drum Instructor
Job Description
Allegra Music Academy is looking for a University Degreed Music Instructor to join our existing teaching staff. Preferably with availability at least 2 days out of the week. We are seeking a strong, warm, friendly, fun and experienced Drum instructor (teaching additional instruments is a huge plus!) who will be able to commit to teaching per week on an ongoing basis. Interested candidates should be able to commit to a regular schedule for at least a year and hopefully many more. Must have a strong music theory background and MUST also be willing and able to teach both children and adults. The strongest candidates are able to teach all levels of students, from a complete beginner to an experienced student. Interested and qualified instructors please send us the following: Cover letter and resume. A complete Scope of Work will be provided upon invitation to the first interview. After the interview process, you will be asked to teach a sample lesson before being offered a contract. This position is currently open. Training and orientation would commence upon hiring.
Requirements for all positions:
1+ years of experience teaching to a diverse student base with a focus on private one-on-one instruction Extensive music education (BA or equivalent) Ability to teach children and adults from beginner to intermediate (advanced a +) Ability to handle a weekly roster of students Commit to teach current schedule for a minimum of one year Open-minded, warm and patient Reliable, flexible and responsible- Can make commitment to teaching regularly, with little or no need for a sub Team Player, respectful of others Great attitude and customer service oriented Please respond only if you are seeking a teaching position at a warm, friendly, and beautiful music school where you will be part of an amazing team of instructors who work together to make our clients love their musical experience at our school!
