Music Teacher - After-School Program Music 4 Humans Fort Collins, CO Job Details Part-time | Contract $40 - $60 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Experience teaching visual & performing arts Performing background checks Adaptability Elementary school teaching experience Teaching experience with young children Full Job Description We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to support our after-school music programs. This role involves working with young children in grades K-6, guiding them in their musical education and helping with group activities. The job will require traveling to different school locations in Thornton and Aurora.
Responsibilities:
Teach music lessons for children, focusing on instruments and group performances. Help create a positive, engaging learning environment. Support classroom management and discipline in line with program rules. Collaborate with Music 4 Humans to prepare lesson plans and activities. Travel to various school locations in the Denver Metro area.
Qualifications:
Previous Music teaching experience, particularly with young children. Strong musical background. Ability to undergo an extensive background check. Excellent communication skills and patience with children. Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic about music education.
Salary:
Starting at $40 per hour during training. Once training is completed and the assistant takes over their own classes, there will be a significant raise.
