The Auxiliary Program at Sheridan School in Washington D.C., is seeking professional music teachers to teach instrumental lessons for students ranging from K-8th grade for the school year 2026-2027 (www.sheridanschool.org).

m. (W) The work schedule can be based on your availability. Lessons are held in 30 minute slots. Qualified candidates must have experience as a professional musician and/or teaching experience. Looking for teachers in the following disciplines: Piano, Guitar, Violin, Brass, Drums, Voice About Sheridan School / After School Program Sheridan is an independent, co-educational, K-8 school located in northwest Washington, DC, offering a progressive, concept-based curriculum that promotes social justice and utilizes Reading and Writing Workshop, Singapore Math and Responsive Classroom. Each grade has about 25 students in one homeroom with two teachers. Departmental classes are taught in smaller sections outside of the homeroom by content specialists.
