Coral Springs, FL Job Details Part-time $25 - $35 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Music In-person tutoring Piano Bachelor's degree Experience working with middle schoolers Working with students Bachelor of Music Experience working with elementary school students Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Teaching instrumental performance Full Job Description We are seeking a passionate and patient Piano Instructor to provide individual piano lessons to children of varying ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate is not only musically proficient but also enjoys working with kids, understands age-appropriate teaching techniques, and creates a positive, engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one piano instruction to children (typically ages 4-15) Tailor lesson plans to each student's skill level, learning style, and goals Teach music fundamentals including note reading, rhythm, technique, and theory Encourage creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of music Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and/or exams if applicable Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress Track attendance and lesson notes
Requirements:
Proficiency in piano performance and music theory Prior experience teaching piano to children (1+ years preferred) Ability to work with young learners in a patient and supportive manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills [

Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent experience] [

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with various teaching methods (e.g., Suzuki, Faber, Alfred) Experience preparing students for music exams (e.g., ABRSM, RCM) Ability to teach both in-person and online lessons
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
