We are looking for a warm, dependable guitar teacher for private, in-person acoustic and electric guitar lessons. The ability to teach bass is a plus, but is not required. What you'll do
  • Teach acoustic and electric guitar to children, teens, and adults, including beginners
  • Adapt lessons to each student's level, interests, and goals, balancing technique, rhythm, musicianship, and songs
  • Help beginners make steady progress and enjoy learning their instrument
  • Build trusting relationships with students and their families
  • Prepare students for recitals and help them reach clear, achievable milestones
  • Keep simple lesson notes so families and the front desk stay in the loop
  • Arrive reliably, on time, and prepared for each student What we're looking for
  • Strong playing and teaching ability on acoustic and electric guitar
  • Experience teaching children and the ability to work patiently with beginner students and adult learners
  • Clear communication, reliability, and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to teach a variety of styles and make lessons engaging
  • Bass teaching ability is preferred, not required Availability Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are preferred.

  • 45 per paid teaching hour, based on experience and qualifications.
This is a teaching-hour rate, not a rate for all hours on site.
