In this role, you will develop engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and guide students in their musical journey. Whether working with beginners or advanced players, your expertise will help cultivate a lifelong love for music while nurturing creativity, discipline, and confidence. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive piano curricula tailored to diverse skill levels and age groups Conduct engaging individual and group lessons that incorporate technical skills, musical expression, and performance techniques Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages participation and creativity Develop innovative teaching strategies that integrate visual arts, choreography, dance instruction, and theater elements when appropriate Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals for improvement Organize recitals, performances, or showcases to celebrate student achievements and build confidence Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to support student development and address individual needs Requirements Proven experience teaching music, particularly piano performance, with a strong background in curriculum development and classroom management Experience working with children and youth programs, including preschool-age children and early childhood development principles Knowledge of visual & performing arts education, including choreography, dance instruction (such as ballet or dancing), theater experience, and creative arts instruction Ability to teach instrumental performance while fostering creativity through arts integration such as photography or sewing projects when relevant Strong skills in behavior management and childhood development to create a positive learning atmosphere Familiarity with teaching arts in diverse settings—classroom experience is essential—along with experience in adult education preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds Join us as a Piano Instructor to ignite students' passion for music while helping them develop essential life skills.
