Job Description
Musician Makers is an in-home music lesson company based in Jacksonville, Florida. We encourage every student to shine with confidence, express themselves freely, and build meaningful connections with others! We are looking for a passionate individual who wants to share the knowledge and love of music with children in a one-on-one lesson setting. We provide professional coaching, curriculum guidance, scheduling and handle all billing to make it super easy for you to focus simply on teaching. Pay $24 per 30-minute lesson; $42 per 60-minute lesson Paid every two weeks by direct deposit Gas coverage on days you only have one lesson scheduled Schedule You tell us your available days and windows, and we only book inside them. What you'll do Travel to students' homes for weekly 30
- or 60-minute private lessons Teach mostly beginner and intermediate students — kids, teens, and some adults Choose method books and material for each student Leave weekly notes + homework for students What we need Strong skill on at least one instrument, and the ability to teach a beginner clearly Strong social and conversational skills; ability to go with the flow of kids and keep them focused on the material through relationship and fun interactions Reliable car, valid license, and insurance — this role is entirely travel-based Smartphone with internet access Dependability.
- Prior teaching experience
- Experience working with children under 12 in any capacity What we handle
