Position Summary:

This position carries the major responsibilities for providing music VOICE or DRUMS instruction to clients.

Scheduled:

Every other Saturday, Miami-Dade County Public School Teacher Planning Days, Spring Break Week, and Thanksgiving Week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

• Works collaboratively in implementing all levels of programming, including beginner, advanced and intermediate lab sessions, as well as rehearsal, recording and performance sessions.
• Administers pre/post testing and compiles and enters data into the ODM system.
• Participates in Program and Curriculum development.
• Assists planning component activities and program evaluation.
• Provides music appreciation and classes to SGA.
• Participates in studio preparation and recording and instructs students in theory, performance, MIDI, and/or instrumentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of industry-specific experience in Voice or Drums.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge in the use of computers including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet research.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, their families and the general public.
• High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background and a drug test screening.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
