Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to inspire students through the transformative power of music and the arts. In this role, you will develop engaging curricula that foster creativity, technical skill, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. You will work with diverse age groups, from preschoolers to young adults, creating a vibrant learning environment that encourages self-expression and artistic growth. Your enthusiasm for teaching music, dance, theater, and visual arts will motivate students to explore their talents and reach their full potential. Duties Design and implement comprehensive curricula in music to various age groups and skill levels Lead engaging classroom sessions that incorporate singing, instrument instruction, choreography, ballet, dancing, and performance techniques Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm Develop innovative lesson plans that integrate arts education with childhood development principles and preschool experiences Guide students in developing technical skills with musical instruments, choreography routines, sewing projects for costumes or props, and photography techniques Organize performances, recitals, exhibitions, or showcases to celebrate student achievements and foster confidence in their artistic abilities Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups in educational or extracurricular settings Demonstrated expertise in teaching visual & performing arts including music performance (instrumental or vocal), dance instruction (ballet or contemporary), theater production, choreography, and stage management Strong background in curriculum development tailored to creative arts instruction for diverse learners Experience managing classrooms effectively through behavior management strategies and classroom experience in preschool or early childhood education Familiarity with arts-related activities such as sewing costumes or props for performances, photography projects, or multimedia presentations Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate teaching methods and student engagement Prior involvement in youth programs teaching arts or adult education settings is a plus Join us in cultivating creativity and inspiring future artists! Pay:
$35.00 - $110.00 per hour
