Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Piano Teacher to inspire private class to ONE preschool student in a private residence In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalized instruction that fosters musical growth, technical proficiency, and a lifelong love for music. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students unlock their potential, whether they are beginners exploring the instrument for the first time or advanced players refining their skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through creative arts education. Responsibilities Design and implement customized piano lesson plans tailored to each student's age, skill level, and musical interests Teach foundational techniques including sight-reading, fingering, rhythm, and music theory Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring student engagement and discipline during lessons Incorporate elements of musical performance, improvisation, and expressive playing into instruction Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances by guiding practice routines and stage presence Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Requirements Proven experience teaching piano to diverse age groups, especially children and youth programs Strong background in curriculum development for music education at various levels Knowledge of classroom management techniques to maintain an organized learning environment Experience working with children and understanding childhood development principles Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts, including choreography, dance instruction, theater experience, ballet, dancing, and photography is a plus Ability to teach instrumental performance with a focus on musical instruments like piano Skills in choreography, dance instruction, sewing or costume design are advantageous for integrated arts projects Excellent communication skills and patience to work effectively with students of different learning styles Certification or formal training in teaching arts or creative arts instruction is preferred Join us to cultivate young musicians' talents while sharing your passion for the arts!
