Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Vocal Teacher to inspire students of all ages to discover and develop their singing talents. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, foster a positive learning environment, and guide students through technical vocal training, performance skills, and musical expression. Your enthusiasm for the arts and dedication to nurturing creativity will help students build confidence and achieve their musical goals. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive vocal curriculum tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, incorporating both classical and contemporary styles. Conduct engaging voice lessons that focus on proper technique, breath control, pitch accuracy, and musical interpretation. Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students. Provide constructive feedback to support student growth, encouraging artistic exploration and confidence building. Coordinate with students on performance preparation, including stage presence, choreography integration, and repertoire selection. Incorporate elements of choreography, dance instruction, and theater techniques to enhance overall performance skills. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and lesson plans to ensure continuous development. Requirements Proven experience in teaching singing or vocal performance across various age groups; experience working with children is essential. Strong background in curriculum development for arts education with a focus on creative arts instruction. Knowledge of classroom management strategies to foster discipline while encouraging creativity. Experience in choreography, dance instruction, and integrating movement with vocal performance is highly desirable. Ability to work with students on instrumental performance techniques related to singing or other instruments such as piano or guitar. Background in childhood development, behavior management, preschool education, or youth programs teaching experience is preferred. Skills in photography or sewing are considered nice-to-have extras that can enrich arts projects and performances. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
