Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Music Teacher to inspire children through engaging music. In this role, you will design dynamic lesson plans that incorporate a variety of artistic disciplines, manage classroom environments effectively, and foster a love of music among young students. Your enthusiasm will help cultivate creativity, coordination, and confidence in our students while supporting their overall development. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive music and arts curricula tailored for students from kindergarten to twelfth grade. Lead classroom activities that include singing, playing musical instruments, worship, and chapel. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques to create a safe and motivating learning environment. Guide students in developing skills in musical performance. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special performances, graduations, or exhibitions showcasing student talents Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of children with varying abilities and learning styles. Work along with Administration to create a meaningful Chapel experience. Lead and organize Chapel. Work with Admin to schedule guest speakers for Chapel. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings. Strong background in teaching arts such as music. Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning. Skilled in classroom management and behavior management strategies. Experience teaching instrumental performance. Ability to foster creativity while maintaining an organized classroom environment. Certification or training in music arts.
