We are looking for an educator who can introduce elementary and middle school boys to music through engaging, age-appropriate instruction while developing creativity, confidence, musical appreciation, and performance skills. Bethel Christian Boys Academy provides a structured, supportive, faith-based learning environment focused on helping young men grow academically, creatively, socially, and personally. Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate music lessons Introduce students to rhythm, melody, basic music theory, and music appreciation Provide opportunities for singing, movement, percussion, and instrumental instruction when appropriate Encourage student participation, creativity, and confidence Adapt instruction to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment Organize and maintain instruments, equipment, and instructional materials Help prepare students for school performances, programs, and special events Collaborate with classroom teachers and school administration Maintain appropriate classroom behavior and safety expectations Qualifications Experience teaching music or working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred Background or experience in music, music education, performance, or a related area preferred Ability to play one or more musical instruments strongly preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Patient, dependable, energetic, and encouraging Comfortable working within a faith-based school environment Must successfully complete all required background screening for employment in a school setting
