Job Summary:
Music Teacher - Neurodivergent Learning Academy Per Diem | 1-2 Days Per Week | Tamarac, FL Joyful Roots Learning Academy is looking for a FUN, energetic, creative, and engaging Music Teacher who loves working with children and knows how to turn music time into the highlight of their day! Our Learning Academy serves neurodivergent children , and we are looking for someone who has previous experience working with children with autism, developmental differences, or other unique learning needs.
What We're Looking For:
We don't want music class to simply be sitting and listening—we want our students moving, singing, playing, laughing, creating, and having FUN!
The right person will:
Have experience working with neurodivergent children Be energetic, patient, flexible, and comfortable with different learning styles Know how to engage and capture the attention of children with varying abilities Create fun, interactive music lessons and musical activities Incorporate instruments, movement, rhythm, singing, dancing, musical games, and other creative activities Adapt activities so that every child has an opportunity to participate Bring a positive, encouraging energy to every session
Schedule:
This is a Per Diem position , approximately 1-2 times per week , with sessions lasting at least one hour . Our Goal At Joyful Roots, music isn't about being perfect—it's about connection, expression, participation, confidence, and FUN! We want our students excited when they hear, "It's music day!" If you're creative, energetic, love music, and have a heart for working with neurodivergent children, we would love to hear from you!
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
