Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Musical Instrument Instructor to inspire and nurture students' love for music across a variety of instruments, including piano, woodwinds, brass, voice, and potentially multiple instruments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with learners of all ages, from preschoolers to adults, fostering their musical talents through engaging lessons, creative curriculum development, and performance preparation. The ideal candidate will bring energy, expertise in teaching various musical instruments, and a dedication to cultivating a vibrant learning environment that encourages growth, creativity, and confidence. Duties Deliver engaging and personalized music lessons on piano, woodwinds, brass, voice, and other instruments as applicable Develop comprehensive curricula tailored to students' skill levels and musical interests and supplement this with the newest and most robust methodologies for each instrument from Carmine Appice, Troy Stetina and more. Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior and active participation Incorporate televised learning and Youtube curriculum to keep students excited. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity, community, culture, discipline, and enjoyment of music Collaborate with colleagues who have sold over 100 million albums, have received multiple diamond awards, multiple Berklee graduates offer kids the best of the best learning experience being mentored by staff they can be proud of to enhance the overall arts education experience Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about achievements and areas for improvement Experience Proven experience teaching music or instrumental performance to diverse age groups, including children and adults Strong background in curriculum development for arts education programs Experience working with children in classroom or extracurricular settings; preschool or childhood development experience is a plus Knowledge of classroom management techniques tailored for creative arts instruction Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students exhibiting varied learning styles and behavioral needs. Multi lingual a huge plus.
