Music Enrichment Teacher for Early Childage

Job Title:
Early Childhood Music Enrichment Specialist My Best Music Academy — MBMA Littles Program Position Overview We are looking for a warm, high-energy music educator with a passion for early childhood development to join our MBMA Littles team. This role is designed for a multi-instrumentalist who thrives in playful, imaginative learning environments and understands how young children engage with music through movement, story, and sensory exploration. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging music enrichment classes for children ages 18 months-5 years (Littles and Little Explorers levels) Introduce and demonstrate multiple instruments in each session, creating hands-on exploration opportunities for young learners Incorporate read-alouds, puppet play, call-and-response, and movement-based activities to support musical and developmental growth Adapt lessons using visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and narrative modalities Maintain a low-tech, high-engagement classroom environment — connection and creativity over screens Travel to partner school or rec center sites as assigned and represent MBMA professionally Qualifications Proficiency on 2+ instruments (voice + at least one melodic or rhythm instrument strongly preferred) Experience teaching or working with children ages 5 and under Naturally high energy, patient, and joyful in a classroom setting Comfortable with puppets, props, books, and imaginative play as teaching tools Reliable transportation required for offsite instruction Preferred Background in early childhood education, child development, or music therapy Experience in group music classes (Kindermusik, Music Together, Orff, or similar) Bilingual a plus
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
