We combine individual instruction with group rehearsals to help students build musical mastery, stage confidence, and real-life skills. Role Overview We are looking for a passionate Vocal Instructor to help our students find their voice and own the stage! In this role, you will teach healthy vocal mechanics, pitch, range extension, and stage presence across various rock, pop, and modern genres. Key Responsibilities Deliver dynamic private 30-minute and 45-minute vocal lessons focusing on healthy vocal projection, pitch control, stamina, and breath management. Ensure students learn the fundamentals of music theory, ear training, and vocal care. Guide students through proper warm-ups, harmony singing, microphone technique, and stage presence. Prepare vocalists to perform lead and backing vocals in live show band rehearsals. Maintain thoughtful lesson notes and communicate encouragingly with parents and students. Strictly adhere to School of Rock safety, code of conduct, and supervision standards. Qualifications & Requirements 1-3+ years of professional vocal performance and/or teaching experience. (Formal music school training or active gigging experience preferred). Strong understanding of vocal mechanics, pitch control, and music theory. Ability to accompany students on piano/keyboard or guitar during lessons is a major plus. Patient, encouraging, and engaging personality with strong communication skills.
