Early Childhood Music Enrichment Instructor Part-Time

• On-Site & Private Instruction About My Best Music Academy My Best Music Academy (MBMA) is a selective, application-based music education institution with over 20 years of experience developing young musicians across the Atlanta metropolitan area. We provide high-quality, on-site music enrichment to early childhood centers, faith-based schools, and community programs — and we're growing. We're looking for passionate instructors who love children, love music, and want to make a real difference. About the Role MBMA instructors deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate music enrichment sessions to young learners in early childhood settings — think classrooms full of curiosity, movement, and joy. You'll work across two settings: On-site school enrichment — visiting partner schools and childcare centers to lead group music classes Private instruction — one-on-one or small-group lessons for individual students This is a part-time, flexible position with opportunities to grow as MBMA expands into new partner schools. Travel between sites is required. What You'll Do Plan and deliver 25-60 minute music enrichment sessions for children ages 18 months-5 years (and up) Write and maintain lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with MBMA's curriculum Lead singing, movement, rhythm, and instrument exploration activities Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Arrive fully prepared and equipped — MBMA instructors never put the burden on school staff Communicate professionally with school contacts and MBMA leadership Track student progress and participate in program evaluations Travel to assigned partner school and program sites across metro
Atlanta What We're Looking For Required:
Genuine love of children and early childhood education Ability to sing confidently — your voice is your primary instrument in the classroom Ability to play at least one instrument (piano, guitar, percussion, or other) Experience working with young children in a classroom, childcare, or enrichment setting Strong lesson planning skills — you come prepared, every time Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to partner sites Professional, warm, and patient demeanor
Preferred:
Degree or coursework in music education, early childhood education, or a related field
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
