Job Description
Immediate Full-Time Opportunity Available Now and Fall! Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music is currently seeking a qualified instructor to take over an established studio of violin, viola, bass and cello students and continue helping them grow musically. With a studio of more than 40 active students, this position offers an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about music education and building long-term student relationships. The role may be structured as either full-time or part-time, with immediate enrollment available and additional students expected in August. Many of these students also participate in our String Ensemble program, providing opportunities to teach both private lessons and group performance experiences. Our Locations

This is a fantastic in-person teaching opportunity to inspire students of all ages and skill levels while doing what you love most — making music. If you're dedicated to nurturing musical talent and creating a fun, encouraging learning environment, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and/or group violin instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and learning pace Teach proper technique including bowing, posture, finger placement, and music theory fundamentals Track and evaluate student progress and communicate updates to parents or guardians Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and performances Maintain a positive, structured, and motivating classroom environment Collaborate with school staff to support studio events and recital programmingRequirements:
Proficiency in violin performance with a strong foundation in classical technique Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred (all levels welcome to apply) Ability to teach beginner through advanced students across a range of age groups Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent professional experience preferred Passion for music education and a genuine enthusiasm for student developmentAbout Us:
