We are looking for a reliable, personable, and enthusiastic music teacher to join our teaching team. We are especially interested in teachers who can teach piano and/or voice . Guitar experience is a plus! About the Position This is a flexible, part-time teaching position where you create your own schedule based on your availability and the students available in your area. Lessons are primarily taught in students' homes , so reliable transportation is required. We work with students of various ages and skill levels, with a strong focus on children and teens. The ability to connect with students, keep them engaged, and make lessons enjoyable is extremely important. There may also be opportunities for substitute teaching for current MusicWorks students. Strong preference will be given to candidates who can teach more than one instrument , particularly piano and voice.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has at least 1 year of music teaching experience (preferred) Is proficient on piano, voice, and/or guitar Enjoys working with children and teens Is dependable, responsible, and punctual Communicates clearly and responds promptly to messages Is comfortable teaching independently in students' homes Can build positive relationships with students and parents Is enthusiastic, patient, encouraging, and professional Has reliable transportation Is willing to follow MusicWorks policies, curriculum expectations, and communication procedures Wants the flexibility of creating a teaching schedule that works for themResponsibilities:
Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Facilitate supplemental activities that encourage participation and enhance learning. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Create a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and engagement. Incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.Requirements:
Looking for enthusiastic instructor to teach beginning to advanced piano lessons to children ages 3-18.PLEASE READ
MusicWorks is structured so that teachers travel to students houses for lessons. Lessons available in Suwanee, Cumming, Sugar Hill, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Buford, with possibility to expand to other areas. Not required to teach all levels and abilities and areas of service.Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in music, education, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and adult education practices. Experience working with students is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire learning.
