Job Description
Rock 'n' Kids Early Childhood Music and Movement Instructor We are looking for an energetic, creative, reliable instructor for our Tot Rock and Kid Rock music and creative movement programs for young children! Classes are held at park districts in the Northwest Suburbs and Chicagoland area. Extensive, paid training program and curriculum materials provided. Degree not required, but some type of experience in one of the following is necessary: early childhood, music, dance, teaching of any kind. The position is Wednesdays from 4:45 - 7:30 p.m. in Darien and Thursdays from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. This is a great part time job! It's active and creative and will bring you joy! This is a permanent, year-round position. (Opportunities for more hours possible in the future.) Responsibilities Implement engaging music and movement lesson plans tailored for young children. (Provided by Rock 'n' Kids) Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Manage classroom dynamics and ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Provide individualized support to enhance each child's learning experience. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote children's development through music and movement activities. Utilize various teaching methods, including creative movement and interactive play, to facilitate learning.
