- Glenview, IL Twelve Tone Music School is looking for a charismatic and energetic instructor who can teach both piano and voice private lessons, and group piano classes.

We offer:
Part-Time Instructor Schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays and the possibility of Saturdays) Weekday schedule is between 3:00pm- 8:00pm, and weekend schedule is 9:00am
- 1:00pm. $30
- 32 per hour starting.
Benefits Teacher Requirements:
MUST:
A background in music with the ability to play piano up to intermediate or advanced level, and voice up to an intermediate or advanced level as well. Some formal music training required; higher degree in music, education and/or performing arts. Experience teaching both private and small group classes (no more than 4-5 students). Ability to follow a prewritten curriculum and adhere to school-wide standards. Experience or familiarity with music technology that includes, but is not limited to, hooking up and connecting keyboards and microphones to digital devices, or learning programs to help run classes and events. Ability to learn and use our proprietary LMS systems. Ability to teach a class of up to 4 students on your own. Ability to arrange music a plus, but not required. Work with the school's administration and teachers to prepare students for showcases and events. Willing and able to work a number of student showcases and events throughout the year. Ability to communicate effectively with all Twelve Tone Music School students, staff and parents. Able to motivate students and encourage progress while ensuring a friendly and outgoing creative environment. Ability to be timely and present for all scheduled classes and lessons. Enjoys being around children in a fun, personable and outgoing atmosphere while nurturing creative growth. Must pass a background check. Ability, at times, to lift up to 50 lbs.
