We are looking for an educator who loves sharing the gift of music with children while helping them grow academically, creatively, and spiritually. Responsibilities Teach general music to students in Pre Kindergarten through Grade 8 . Plan and direct the school's annual Christmas Pageant . Direct and coordinate the school musical/play . Prepare students to provide music for weekly school Masses and other liturgical celebrations . Foster an appreciation for music through singing, movement, rhythm, music literacy, and performance opportunities. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and Catholic identity of the school. Create a positive, engaging, and faith-centered classroom environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field. Valid Indiana teaching license (or ability to obtain one). Practicing Catholic preferred, with a commitment to supporting the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church. Experience working with elementary and middle school students is preferred.
