We'd love to meet you. REW Music is looking for a passionate Low Brass Private Music Instructor to join our teaching team. We are especially interested in instructors who can teach Trombone, Euphonium/Baritone, and/or Tuba. If you enjoy helping students find their sound, build confidence, and discover how much fun playing an instrument can be, this could be a great opportunity to build a consistent, rewarding teaching studio with us. What You'll Teach We are specifically looking for a teacher comfortable working with: Trombone Euphonium / Baritone Tuba You may teach one or multiple low brass instruments. Students may range from beginning students just learning their first notes to more advanced students preparing for auditions, ensembles, or continued study. What You'll Do Teach individual, in-person private lessons Develop engaging, individualized lessons for each student Help beginning students establish a strong technical foundation Help developing students improve tone, technique, musicianship, and confidence Prepare students for school band, honor bands, auditions, performances, and personal musical goals Build positive relationships with students and parents Communicate with parents about student progress when appropriate Encourage students to participate in performances and other musical opportunities Collaborate with other instructors and REW Music staff Build and maintain a consistent, long-term teaching studio Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: A low brass musician who genuinely enjoys teaching An experienced private instructor A current or recent Music Education or Music Performance student A professional musician looking to add teaching to your schedule A teacher looking to build a larger or more consistent studio We are looking for someone who is: Strong on their primary instrument Positive, patient, and encouraging with students Reliable and professional Comfortable teaching students of different ages and abilities Comfortable communicating with parents Creative in their approach to music education Interested in building relationships with students and families Interested in long-term studio growth A Bachelor's Degree in Music or Music Education is preferred , but we also value teaching experience, musicianship, and your ability to connect with students.
