Up to $29/hour (based on education & experience) REW Music is hiring passionate Private Instrumental Music Instructors to teach in-person lessons at our Lenexa and Olathe, Kansas locations. Position Overview This part-time Private Lesson Instructor role is ideal for musicians who love teaching students of all levels. We want instructors who value creating a strong foundation and cultivating success with and for students from day one. Instructors will design individualized lesson plans , collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to performances, events, and group learning opportunities.

Instruments We Teach:

Woodwinds Brass Percussion Orchestral Strings Piano Guitar and Ukulele Key Responsibilities Teach private music lessons in person Create engaging, student-centered lesson plans Inspire and motivate students to achieve musical goals Communicate effectively with students and parents Collaborate with instructors and staff on showcases, events, and programs Develop creative group, ensemble, or solo playing opportunities Support a positive, professional studio environment Contribute to building a long-term, consistent teaching studio Required & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Music or Music Education on primary instrument (preferred) Advanced proficiency on primary instrument Experience teaching private music lessons Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and reliable Creative approach to music education Interest in collaboration and community-building Desire for long-term employment and studio growth
