Humanities/ Music Job Summary The Music Department at Jefferson Community & Technical College has an opening for a part-time instructor to teach one section of MUS 100 Intro to Music at the UPS Location in Louisville, KY for the Spring 2027 semester.
Job Duties:
Good foundational music teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the student population. Responsible for organizing and implementing course curriculum with successful classroom management. Proficiency with Blackboard learning delivery system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Music degree with 18 graduate hours in music with one year college teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Music degree with multiple years of teaching music history/appreciation at the college level.
