This is a sports-first community. Friday night lights, travel hockey, lacrosse tournaments on every weekend. Music has always been here but it has never had a home that took it as seriously as the sports programs do. That is what we are building at Rhythm & Strings. We are a professionally run private music studio founded by a Berklee College of Music alumnus and active performing musician. We teach rock band instruments including guitar, bass, drums, and piano to students of all ages who want to actually play music, not just practice scales and prepare for the next recital. We record our progress. When a student masters a song, we set up mics and a camera right here in the studio and capture a real performance video. Parents love it. Students come back because of it. We are growing fast. We have two studio rooms open now, a growing student base, and a Saturday piano program that is filling up. Now we are opening weekday piano and voice slots and we need experienced teachers who want to be part of something that is still early enough to shape. The Opportunity We are filling one or more of the following days with experienced piano and voice instructors: Wednesday 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM You do not need all three days. One day done consistently and done exceptionally well is how this starts. Teaching hours grow as the studio grows. The instructors who get in now are the ones who will have first choice of schedule as we expand. What Teaching Here Actually Looks Like You show up to a professional, well-equipped studio. Your students are booked and waiting. Marketing, billing, scheduling, and student on-boarding are handled for you. Your job is to teach. We teach songs students love. Students choose music that excites them and you build their foundation around that. No boring exercises for their own sake. No arbitrary curriculum. Just real music, real progress, and students who actually want to come back every week. When a student masters a song, we set up a recording session right here in the studio. Mics up, camera rolling. The finished performance video goes home with the family. You will be part of building something that families brag about to their neighbors. The Pay $55.00 per teaching hour. You are paid for every hour you teach. No waiting periods, no hoops to jump through. Show up, teach great lessons, get paid. As the studio grows your hours grow with it. The instructors who build their student base here early will have the most to gain as we add students, rooms, and additional programs. Who We Are Looking For Strongly preferred: Experienced piano and voice instructor with 3 or more years of private teaching Comfortable teaching voice and piano to students of all ages, beginners through advanced Piano teachers with voice are our highest priority hire for this role Also accepted: Experienced piano-only instructor with 3 or more years of private teaching experience Comfortable teaching all ages from complete beginners through advanced players Required for all candidates: Available for at least one of the three days listed above, every week, consistently Strong verbal and written communicator with parents and students Able to pass a CORI background check before your start date Reliable transportation to Billerica, MA Commitment to at least 12 months Who Thrives Here You have been teaching long enough to know that the studio environment matters.
