Part-Time Singing Instructor Description:
Apollinaire Theatre Company's youth program, Apollinaire Play Lab, is seeking a Singing Instructor for our fall session. Join Apollinaire Play Lab for our fall session, September 26-December 5 (no class November 28).
Schedule:
Saturdays, September 26-December 5 11:45
  • 12:45, ages 8-14 Responsibilities include: Develop and plan age-appropriate group singing lessons Teach a one-hour singing class each Saturday Communicate with parents as needed Return classroom to its original set up at the end of class Complete program evaluation materials at the end of the session Check in periodically with program leadership as needed Prepare students for an open class with families on the final day of the session
Location:
Riseman Family Theatre 187 Winnisimmet Street Chelsea, MA 02150
Compensation:
$90 per class hour (1099) Program descriptions can be found online at www.aplaylab.com.
Qualifications:
  • Strong collaboration, communication & organizational skills
  • Experience creating lesson plans, and teaching singing
  • Experience working with youth ages 8-14
  • Undergraduate degree
