Position:
Part-Time Trumpet Instructor 2026-2027 School Year(September 2026 to early June 2027)Lifelong Music Academys After School Private Lesson Program Location:
Franklin High School, 218Oak Street, Franklin MA Schedule:
1-2 afternoons/evenings per week. The number of hours is dependent upon studentenrollment.Applicant selects the day (Monday Thursday) that works best for their schedule. Lessons areoffered between 2:308:00 PM. Applicant can choose specific time frame within that, preferablyat least three hours.
Salary:
$53 per hour.Benefits:
This position is not benefits eligible.Requirements:
Professional musician with prior experience teaching one-on-one lessons to students of varying abilities. Extensive knowledge of sheet music and curriculum appropriate to students of varying abilities. Offer will be contingent upon clear background screening, including Criminal Offender (CORI) and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI)Anticipated Start Date:
September 2026. Exact date to be determined.Additional Details:
Private music lessons are offered to elementary, middle school and high school students, as well as adults. Instructors are Franklin Public Schools employees and are paid bi-weekly.Benefits
