A Music Teacher teaches music classes in elementary to secondary school, or recreationally. May teach general music or specialize in voice or vocal, piano, violin, guitar, band, conductor, or choir instruction.

Infant-Pre-K About the Position Star Preschools is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and passionate Music Enrichment Instructor to bring the joy of music to our young learners! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to introduce them to music, instruments, rhythm, movement, and creative expression in a fun and age-appropriate way. The instructor will travel to each of our four preschool locations once per month from September through May , spending approximately 15-30 minutes with each classroom . Activities should be engaging and adaptable for children ranging from infants through Pre-K. To accommodate our part-time children and ensure that all children have the opportunity to participate, the visit schedule will rotate from month to month . For example, one month may follow a Tuesday/Thursday schedule, while the following month may shift to a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. The specific schedule will be planned in advance and may vary each month to accommodate holidays, school closures, and the needs of our programs. What You'll Do Visit each Star Preschools location once per month during the school year. Follow a rotating monthly schedule designed to accommodate children who attend on different days of the week. Provide engaging, interactive music activities and experiences for children ages Infant-Pre-K. Introduce children to a variety of instruments, sounds, rhythms, songs, and musical concepts. Use singing, movement, instruments, and age-appropriate activities to keep children engaged. Adapt activities to meet the developmental needs of different age groups. Create a fun, positive, and welcoming environment where children can explore and enjoy music. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and school leadership. Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and energy to every classroom visit. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Has a genuine passion for music and working with young children . Is comfortable engaging children from infants through Pre-K. Is energetic, creative, patient, and enthusiastic. Has experience working with children and/or providing music instruction or enrichment. Is comfortable traveling between our four locations. Can bring their own instruments/materials as needed. Is reliable and able to commit to a consistent but rotating monthly schedule . Enjoys creating meaningful and memorable experiences for young children. A Long-Term Opportunity We're hoping to find someone who wants to become a long-term partner with Star Preschools .
