Position:
Fall Marching Band Instructor Summary:
NBHS seeks a Fall Marching Band Instructor to teach and inspire our students. Through strong teamwork, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills•this candidate will foster a positive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the summer Marching Band Camp and Fall Season Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement Support the musical development of the marching band as directed by the Band Director(s) Implement all musical and/or visual techniques needed by the students Maintain, secure, and setup equipment and materials for rehearsals and performances Establish a positive rapport with students and families Participate in concerts, marching band competitions, football games, parades, and other community events as needed throughout the school year Flexible schedule including working holidays Must participate in med delegation training and provide completed certificate to Health Services and/or School Nurse for mandatory in person process review Such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal, Director of Fine Arts, or CDAM•
Arts Qualifications:
Experience rehearsing either winds/percussion/color guard Knowledge or appropriate techniques on wind/percussion instruments or color guard equipment Works collaboratively with staff and students
