Young Students and Brimmer and May School Description:

Brimmer and May's After-School Music program provides lessons on various instruments to our students conveniently on-campus. Currently, we're looking for a flute teacher to work with our students from 3pm to 5:30pm on Mondays. Lessons are primarily 1-on-1 meetings of 30 minutes each, but occasionally we arrange for students to try playing duets or trios together if a scheduling opportunity arises. Pay for the entire afternoon is $175. The number of afternoons of teaching will range from 20-24 depending on timing of the hire, with lessons wrapping in late April. Our campus in Chestnut Hill is right on the Chestnut Hill stop on the Green Line, so this is a great job for someone without a car!

Qualifications:

Experience teaching the flute to beginning students. Comfortable working with students in 3rd grade and above.
