Our children's music program has be a favorite for families across the North Shore, bringing together live music, movement, storytelling, bubbles, instruments, and interactive play in an engaging, joyful environment. We're looking for someone who loves performing, loves children, and believes music has the power to create lasting memories. the Role We're seeking an enthusiastic vocalist and children's music instructor to lead our signature music classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers. Our 45-minute classes are energetic, interactive, and filled with live singing, movement, dancing, rhythm activities, scarves, bubbles, instruments, and imaginative play. You'll work alongside a live pianist to create a weing environment w every child—and every grown-up—feelsfortable participating. Whether your background is music education, musical theater, vocal performance, early childhood education, music therapy, or simply a love of performing with children, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Lead engaging 45-minute music classes for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers
Sing confidently while encouraging participation from both children and adults
Facilitate movement, rhythm activities, storytelling, and play-based learning
Create a warm, energetic, and inclusive classroom atmosp
Collaborate with our live pianist and fellow instructors
Arrive prepared,anized, and ready to create a positive experience for every family
Build relationships with families and help foster the weingmunity A Mom's Village is known for
Maintain a clean,anized classroom before and after each class Qualifications Strong singing ability with confidence performing in front of groups
Warm, engaging personality with the ability to connect with both young children and their caregivers
Experience teaching, performing, or working with children ages 0-5 preferred
Background in music education, vocal performance, musical theater, early childhood education, music therapy, or a related field is a plus
Comfortable leading interactive music, movement, storytelling, and play-based activities
Energetic, outgoing, and able to maintain enthusiasm throughout multiple classes
Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
Dependable,anized, and professional with strong time management
Willingness to learn and teach A Mom's Village music curriculum and class format
Ability to work collaboratively with a live pianist and fellow instructors
Reliable transportation to our Peabody studio
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Must successfully pass required
