We aremitted to fostering a love for music throughprehensive instruction, performance opportunities, and strongmunity engagement. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated part-time Piano Instructor to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers a consistent, pre-assigned teaching schedule and is ideal for candidates looking for a stable part-time role within an established music school. T is strong potential for this position to transition into a full-time faculty role in the following year.
Teaching Schedule Thursday:
3:00 p.m.•8:00 p.m.
Saturday:
9:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m. Optional (preferred but not required): Monday 3:00 p.m.•8:00 p.m. Responsibilities Teach private and/or small group piano lessons Design and implement engaging, individualized lesson plans Teach piano technique, music theory, and musicianship Track student progress andmunicate regularly with families Prepare students for recitals, exams, and performances Participate in studio events and faculty collaboration Compensation Hourly rate starting at $43 and up, based on experience and qualifications Growth Opportunity Opportunity to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year Potential to transition into a full-time position in the following academic year, which includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid vacation time
Qualifications:
Authorization to work in the United States Master's or Doctoral degree in Music or related field (preferred) Strong piano proficiency and teaching experience Experience working with students of various ages and levels Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Skills Experience with structured curriculum and lesson planning Strong background in private instruction Knowledge of diverse piano repertoire and performance techniques Experience in group instruction and/or early childhood education
