Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Children's Music Instructor to inspire young minds through the power of music and the arts. In this role, you will create engaging, educational, and fun music programs tailored for children of various ages. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate music, dance, theater, and visual arts suitable for children's developmental stages. Lead interactive classes that teach musical instruments, singing, choreography, ballet, and dance instruction with enthusiasm and clarity. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior through effective behavior management techniques. Incorporate creative arts activities such as choreography, acting exercises, photography projects, sewing crafts, or culinary arts to enrich the learning experience. Assess individual student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth in musical performance and artistic skills. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student achievements and areas for development. Organize performances or showcases that highlight students' talents in music, dance, theater, or visual arts. Skills Proven experience working with children in educational or youth program settings with a focus on creative arts instruction. Strong background in teaching music, dance (including ballet), theater, or visual arts such as photography or sewing. Expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education or preschool-aged children. Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to teach instrumental performance, choreography, dancing, or other specialized arts disciplines effectively. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Experience planning lessons that integrate multiple artistic disciplines like singing, acting, dancing, and visual arts to create holistic programs.
