Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and child development instruction will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and have a strong commitment to fostering early literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical development in preschool-aged children. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Engage in ongoing lesson planning and assessment to monitor each child's progress in areas such as childhood development and standardized testing readiness. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and classroom activities to foster strong home-school connections. Manage classroom routines effectively while adhering to mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, incident reports, and lesson plans in compliance with licensing requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an accredited institution. Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and young learners. Knowledge of curriculum development, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices. Familiarity with childhood development principles, literacy education techniques, and the use of standardized testing tools. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare laws is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous.
