In this role, you will deliver engaging piano lessons that foster technical skill, musicality, and confidence. Your expertise will help students develop their musical talents while nurturing a love for the arts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant educational environment dedicated to creative arts instruction and personal growth. Duties Design and implement comprehensive piano lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels Teach proper technique, sight-reading, music theory, and performance skills across various genres Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and self-expression Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring student engagement and behavior management Incorporate curriculum development strategies to enhance lesson effectiveness and student progress Provide constructive feedback and assessments to guide student improvement and motivation Organize recitals, performances, or showcases to celebrate student achievements and build confidence Experience Proven experience teaching piano or other musical instruments in a classroom or private setting Strong background in curriculum development for music education at different age levels Experience working with children and understanding childhood development principles Knowledge of visual & performing arts education, including choreography, dance instruction, or theater experience is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Experience teaching youth programs or early childhood education is highly desirable Skills in lesson planning, tutoring, and specialized arts instruction such as ballet, sewing, or photography are advantageous Join us to make a meaningful impact through music education!
