Part-time, Flexible schedule, In-Person, Remote, or Hybrid We are a growing music school looking to add an experienced Teaching Artists to our teaching roster! Prepare and teach private lessons ranging from 30 min to 1 hr weekly Must teach woodwinds, brass and piano Monitor and record the progress of each student Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings Foster an engaging and inspiring learning environment which focuses on the whole being of the student Must be a legal resident ofMN SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in music or equivalent experience Ability to teach to a beginning level the standard band instruments (woodwinds, brass) as well as piano Passion for teaching & commitment to continuing development of teaching skills Understanding of multiple musical styles Excellent technique and proficiency in performance Strong interest in working with diverse socioeconomic groups Knowledge of cultural competency and ability to adapt to ensure inclusive participationCOMPENSATION
