We are looking for piano players and teachers of all levels and experience. Full-time and part-time positions are available with competitive compensation and ample opportunity for professional and personal growth. Lessons take place on weeknight afternoons/evenings, and Saturday morning at all our neighborhood locations.

Hovland Conservatory is a non-profit music school serving families for over 30 years. Our mission is to inspire students through structured, joyful music education in both piano and violin. We provide all scheduling, a proven curriculum, teacher support materials, and a professional, family-friendly teaching environment. During this period of growth, the opportunity for career advancement in other facets of our organization also exist.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking multiple full-time and part-time piano and/or violin instructors to teach in our private studios. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and passionate about helping students develop strong techniques and musicianship. We love instructors who teach both piano and violin and provide additional compensation and opportunities in these cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide weekly piano or violin lessons to students aged five to adult using the Hovland curriculum Learn and administer our unique and proprietary process Prepare students for recitals and skill milestones Communicate progress and goals Maintain punctuality and professionalism
QUALIFICATIONS
Be a good person Piano or violin proficiency Positive, patient communication style Open to new styles of teaching Must be authorized to work in the
U.S. COMPENSATION
$28 - $36 per hour, depending on experience Paid training in the Hovland curriculum Opportunities for additional hours as enrollment grows
