Job Description

Job description Griot Arts is seeking music instructors to lead a 4- to 8-week pilot class for local students in the Clarksdale area. Successful pilots may have the opportunity to continue as part of a 9-month music program launching next year. If you've dreamed of building a long-term music program, we'd love to talk with you. Compensation $30 per teaching hour. Requirements Formal music education (degree or equivalent training) OR several years of proven musical background/experience Experience working with children Ability to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Must pass a background check How to apply Email your proposal to info@griotarts.org with the subject line "Music Proposal."
