Are you looking for a music teaching position where you can focus on inspiring young students and building meaningful relationships—without having to find your own students, create your own curriculum, or manage the business side of teaching? At mfMusic Studio , we've created a joyful, organized, and supportive environment where teachers can focus on what they do best—teach! We're looking for an enthusiastic piano teacher who loves working with children and would enjoy being part of a small, collaborative studio community. This position primarily involves teaching our innovative Piano Club program, which combines individualized instruction with the energy and connection of a small-group setting. Piano Club isn't your typical piano lesson. Students work independently, collaborate with peers, participate in games and music activities, and receive individualized instruction from their teacher—all within a fun, engaging small-group environment. Previous group-piano teaching experience is not required. We provide training, curriculum, resources, and ongoing support to help our teachers become comfortable and confident with our approach. You Might Be a Great Fit If... You love working with children and want to be more than the teacher who simply shows up for a lesson and heads home. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, getting to know students and families, and contributing to a positive studio community. You don't need to know our Piano Club approach already. What matters most is that you're enthusiastic about learning, dependable, encouraging with students, comfortable collaborating with others, and excited about helping children grow as musicians. We're especially looking for someone who: Has strong piano skills and music literacy Has experience teaching piano and/or working with children Communicates warmly and professionally with students, families, and coworkers Is dependable, organized, and comfortable learning new systems Is willing to learn and implement the mfMusic Studio teaching approach Has reliable transportation Is at least 18 years old and able to successfully complete a background check A college-level music degree is preferred but not required. Schedule & Opportunity for Growth This position will begin with approximately 3 teaching hours per week , with the opportunity for hours to grow significantly as enrollment increases . We are currently looking for availability during: Weekday afternoons/evenings (approximately 4:00-7:45 PM) Saturday mornings (approximately 8:30 AM-12:00 PM) As the teacher's schedule and studio enrollment grow, this position has the potential to increase to approximately 15-20 teaching hours per week , based on enrollment and teacher availability. Additional teaching opportunities may include private piano lessons, studio events, and special programs.
