Guitar Instructor

Teaches Guitar Beginning-Advanced to adult students Recruits students to fill classes personally taught. Provides and follows a detailed syllabus, teaching 3-4 hours weekly for a 16-week semester (spring/fall) and/or 8-week session (summer). Provides individual feedback to adult students tailored to move them forward from their current level. Submits news and photos of student work for posting on Southport Center's social media accounts. Assists the Director with developing the Southport Center course schedule during each semester by submitting and reviewing own line-item entries. Submits accurate monthly Timesheets, due the last week of each month. Maintains good rapport with colleagues and students. Other duties as assigned by the director. Self-motivated; works independently. Passion for music with solid craft and teaching skills.
